We partner with the largest independent provider of rail information services to the transportation industry – Union Pacific Railroad and RMI.
SPSR’s Customer Service department can help establish the necessary links and passwords to use these services.
Currently, RMI processes approximately eight million carloads annually for railroads, rail shippers and railcar owners. RMI’s services are accessed via the Internet through ShipperConnect.
With ShipperConnect, customers can:
- view rail cars and shipments en route
- see cars placed at their plant
- view cars on constructive placement
- order cars in
- provide switching and other instructions
- enter bills of lading
- release cars
